Maria holds a degree in History and a diploma in foreign languages, although most of her career has been developed in the training and Human Resources arena. Her role is as a Global Learning Solutions Partner responsible for the Management Development programs globally, such as coaching, mentoring and specific learning programs for high potentials and managers within the Hertz Corporation. Maria has joined Hertz in 2005 as Recruitment & Human Resources Development Manager based in Madrid and has subsequently worked for the Spain operation and two years later joined the Global Talent Management CoE as a Succession and High Potential Manager. Prior to joining Hertz, Maria spent 18 years in American Express where she held different roles in operations, training and human resources, with one of her last positions as the Head of Training & Development in Spain for the Card and Travel Divisions.
